Workshops

The Iowa Library Association and the State Library of Iowa host many continuing education opportunities. The topics vary from how to improve your storytime to how to add more DEI to your library and collection.

Pop YS Con (formerly known as the Kids First Conference) is a two-day, biennial conference all about all things youth services. Join us for award-winning keynote speakers, breakout sessions from in-practice librarians, networking with librarians from all across Iowa, and meeting vendors, nonprofits, and government organizations that support your library work, all while you earn Continuing Education credit. Click here to read more on the State Library website.

April 8 & 9, 2024 at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center, Ames, IA
